We continue our series of sights: After the upper city we meet the Kálvária tér and its surroundings. The Calvary, which its inhabitants also called Jericho, was actually named from the square from which it began to connect Moraváros with Downtown. However, the part of the city has a much richer and more interesting story than just thinking of it as a "bridge." Although originally it was created as a part of the poor, the grund and its surroundings eventually became home to one of the most beautiful churches, factories, factories, schools, and even our first Nobel Prize winner. In the wake of their memory, we present to you the Calvary of Szeged, and as you get used to it, not just from the outside!
The tour was compiled and guided by the tour guides of the Szeged Tourisma.
