Szeged, the city of Palotás, has always been proud of its Jewish citizens, who were not only the dominant figures in the economic life of the city, but also the permanent ones in the fields of science, culture and arts. During our one and a half hour walk, we remember them under the shadowy trees of the Jewish cemetery, in their desertion among beautiful and special tombstones: rabbis, community leaders, industrialists, journalists, painter, sculptor and photographer, one of the world-famous violinists and doctors at the end of the 19th century. In addition to the funeral, cemetery traditions, inscriptions, we decipher the meaning of the symbols and commemorate the victims of the Holocaust.
